Personality:

Perfectionist

Cotton is very compitent with the work he does. He is always trying to please others and help them with his skills. However, he sets very high expectations for himself, so he is often overwhelmed and frustrated. He also takes a while on projects because of this but comes up with excellent results. Small projects such as little fixer-uppers however take no time at all for him since he's been doing that all his life.

Sweet

When he was very young his father used to teach him how to take apart and assemble trinkets and small devices. Every time Cotton was finished with something, he would proudly show his father and his father would smile. Because of that Cotton has always found happiness in seeing others smile. This is why he spends so much time inventing; to aid others. If he dissapoints somebody or makes them angry or sad, he feels very guilty. He'll feel this way even if it wasn't him directly causing the person to be upset. Basically, if he sees anyone in distress he thinks it's his fault.

Easily frustrated

Because Cotton is such a perfectionist, he can get quite frustrated with himself often. When he starts something, he gets really into it and makes sure it gets completed. Although he gets frustrated quite a bit, he always knows how to get back on track.

Multitasker

Due to his eye for detail, Cotton has learned how to complete more than one task at the same time while still doing an effective job. However, doing this is more stressful on him and may cause him to get upset over the smallest of disturbances in the vicinity.

Good problem solver

Smart kid. Knows how to devise effective plans. Not so good with just verbally explaining plans, so will use anything in his environment as a visual aid(things like drawing diagrams in the dirt).

Goggles

Cotton created these steampunk-esque work goggles at a young age. He is constantly upgrading and altering it for shape/comfort and capabilities. He always has this high tech piece of equipment around his neck. Within the googles are multiple interchangable lenses and functions which are currently: Heat resistance, Thermal imaging, Night vision, scratch resistant glass and up to 50x magnification

Tipsy The Fainting Goat

Just a goat. She holds no helpful properties and is more of a burden than anything. One day she started following Cotton around for no reason and wouldn't leave even when he tried shooing her away. He gave up and just kept her around because she was kind of cute. She's always happy and excited. Sometimes she gets too excited and falls over. Eats everything. Everything.

So basically he has no real weapons, but his goggles act as an aid in creating explosives which he is skilled in using. If the need for combat arises, he will hide in the sidelines and either throw projectiles or assist others through communication technology or repairs. Basically screwed if he gets hit.

Additional Perks: Trigger discipline, Loose Cannon

History: Cotton grew up on a little hobby farm with his mother and father where they raised sheep and goats. His father was a very skilled technician and craftsman who taught him many skills. The night the atomic bomb hit he was at home with his babysitter while his parents were out for an anniversary dinner. The child and the caretaker happened to be in the cellar at the time, the boy working away at disassembling some old watches at the work table. For a few months his babysitter, Mary, watched over little Cotton in place of the parents who did not make it. Unfortunately, Mary had been struggling with many health issues in the past. Her poor immune system just could not handle all the radiation. By this time Cotton's horns and new ears were growing in. With the loss of his parents and caretaker he was now going through some rough physical changes. Most of the people he met on his travels became kemonomimis of cats or rabbits or other common animals of the like, and it took him some time to realize that he was a little different.

For a good portion of his early life, he went from caretaker to caretaker. All just people who wanted to help out a little boy. One way or another, he parted ways with each one of them. Whether it be needing to save rescources for their own families or trying to use the boy for their own purposes, they just couldn't stay watching Cotton. For the past 9 years of his life he's been living on his own, trying to sell his inventions and gadgets or doing odd jobs in exchange for food, money or shelter. For the past two years he's been travelling with Tipsy, and Cotton has grown pretty attatched to the stupid thing. She's easy enough to feed since she just eats whatever is around her, but she gets him into trouble since she also eats other people's belongings. It was actually Tipsy that led him to Metro Tunnel. She was sniffing around for something to chew on, and found interest in a small tunnel and wandered in. He followed in behind and eventually they came to the junkyard.

When startled or frightened he screams like a goat

If he's really afraid of something, he will duck his head so his horns will help protect him

Generally sweet, but when he's busy he gets aggitated and pissy like a girl on her cycle

He was actually a pretty tall child, but once he hit a certain age he just...stopped growing. Now he's a shrimp butt

He has a fluffy lamb tail

The pouches along his belt hold small hardware parts that he finds laying around like nuts and bolts. Sometimes the come in handy
